Mini Moo Cards

You have probably heard of these, they've been around for a while, but in case you missed them, you have to check them out.  Yesterday at the farmer's market someone handed me a mini Moo business card.  Hers had beautiful photos of her farm and her sheep on them.  They are printed on extra heavy card stock with a high end matte finish and the quality is stunning.  The special feature of these cards is that you can use multiple images in a set of them: up to 100 different images at no extra charge.  And they come in regular or 'mini' size. The mini size (1/2 the size of a standard business card) would be just perfect for a blog calling card.

There are so many creative ways to use these cards.

At the Moo web site you can design your cards online, and they'll send them to you in a week.  The price is pretty good, $25 for 100, under $50 for 200.

I think one of the special features of these cards is that they have a real tactile 'presence' to them, they don't feel like a throw away object, so people are tempted to hold onto them.

These days people have pretty complex contact info, with web sites, twitter, facebook, email, cell phone and land lines, etc.  I think maybe it's time to bring back the old fashioned calling card.

What do you think?  Have you seen these?

  4. Those are adorable! I wish I wouldn't feel silly if I bought them. They look fabulous. I supposed if I had a product to sell, I'd think they were worth it. Calling cards really should come back into fashion!

  5. What a great idea. I must look out for them here in London. They'd be great for all sorts of things, rather the scrambling around in one's handbag for a scrap of paper and a pencil stub!

  6. New to me - but I think they are fantastic - and so much better than rooting in your bag for a pen and piece of paper!!

  8. Hi, Sue - I'm finally over to visit! I've never seen these little cards before! Or even heard of them... Watch, tomorrow someone will hand me one. LOL! You have such a nice blog -- I love your Morning Glory cake and your recipe for Pot Roast looks great. (Kove the idea of adding chipollini onions!) I will visit again soon!
    Best,
    Gloria
P.S. Did you get your get-a-grips yet? ;)

  9. Hi Sue! I have not seen these cards, but I love the look of them and I also love the idea of calling cards. Its a more personal and fun way of passing along your info to someone rather than texting or emailing it. I am still a person that loves her paper calendar and journal.

  10. I love these cards! They're such a great way to hand out your blog info while being professional and personal at the same time. Better than scratching the address on the back of my business card.
